After All Poetry

Recently, I re-designed my poetry web site and following my new brand (!), I changed the previous Thirteen Tribe

 into new After All Poetry

Yes, the previous WEB site has some many merits due to skillful work of my friend İlhan Küçükaydın; but an approach based on Google Sites is so easy to create and maintain. So I decided to make the change.  Although it is open to the whole WWW, I am sharing it explicitly with some friends to collect early feedback and make the proper adjustments before the grand-opening.

After All

When I started my one-person, gainfully jobless company design(ED) wisdom, I put a subtitle underneath: an afterall enterprise. Many looking at my freshly printed business cards noticed the subtitle. Some friends reacted "cool!" Others didn't know what to say. They asked: What this afterall enterprise mean? To me, this was a typical marketing usage of the language, namely the existentialistic usage. Utter something, let the meaning come afterwards. Actually, I thought of this expression as I was watching the acknowledgements of the movie, Of Gods and Men The name of the production company was Why Not. If Why Not can be the name of a company, why not Afterall I said to myself. But when asked, I gave most of the time a more rational explanation: I tried many things in life, I said, I tried all. Now it is time something completely different. May be something profitable will come to this initiative, maybe something better, something good will come of this initiative. afterall gets objection from spell-checkers. Maybe in the future, I'll try a dashed spelling: after-all. L'important, C'est La Rose, says Gilbert Bécaud. Action is important, action with continuous correction.

O, what do I have at the back of my card? Here it is: It describes different services design(ED) wisdom will offer. But a serious problem is that many people don't realize that there is a back side to a business card. Would I leave that space empty? Never!
